Beaconhurst lifesavers

On Wednesday, the 30th January, Beaconhurst High School warmly welcomed The South African National Blood Service to our school to save lives. Our Peer Promoters did an excellent job promoting the blood donation and getting learners and teachers to sign up in advance, as learners and teachers were seen from early morning to the end of the day, donating their share to save lives. All they take is one pint of blood, which is equivalent to 500ml per donation. This pint can save up to three people’s lives, and you can donate blood every 56 days, which is six donations per year.  Do your part today, and donate a pint of blood to those who desperately need it.
