Miss Bianca Rohland, one of Beaconhurst High Schools wonderful teachers, took part in her very first Ironman 70.3 on the Sunday, 24 January 2016. It is an intense triathlon where athletes must run 21km, swim 1.8km, and cycle 90km.
Miss Rohland finished this all in a excellent time of six hours twenty minutes and placed twenty third in her category. She said she was extremely nervous at first, but absolutely loved the experience. She plans to push herself even harder for next years Ironman.
As a school we are very proud of our IronWomen and congratulate Miss Rohland on her fantastic results.
