A bliss of nature

On the 3-7 July 2017, 13 of our dedicated and motivated Land Service members were chosen to attend the annual Land Service provincial camp, which is aimed at uniting learners with the same interests and aspirations from all over the Eastern Cape.
The thoughtfully themed ‘Water is Life’ camp was held in Jeffery’s Bay at a beautiful resort called Mentoorskraal.
The club members visited a series of places where they were given the opportunity to interact with nature and to also practise their four pillars, which are: Love for our Creator, Love for nature, Love for labour and Love for fellow human beings. It also gave our leaners the opportunity to improve their leadership styles and qualities as well as their ability to interact with a large number of people who share the same common interest – to make a difference in our community.
Congratulations to all of the learners who have been chosen to represent the Eastern Cape Land Service club at nationals in Durban later this year. May you continue to make Beaconhurst proud.
